Ledgerbound Party Builds
Element-complete comps for compact grids—provisional until launch rosters stabilize.
Party builds in Ledgerbound start with a triangle and end with camp schedules. OmniMegaSuperCorp’s compact tactics maps punish blank element slots more than they punish missing a fifth body. Rayna’s HULG squad needs Water, Fire, and Plant answers—Water beats Fire, Fire beats Plant, Plant beats Water—plus someone who holds sigils without folding to counter damage.
These templates are provisional for the August 11, 2026 Steam launch. Swap names when your roster unlocks; keep roles.
Role glossary
| Role | Job on compact grids |
|---|---|
| Adjuster core | Rayna—flexible positioning, story abilities, tutorial priority |
| Sigil anchor | Frontline tile control for setup phases |
| Element answer | Unit covering one leg of A.R.T.E. against Vacari waves |
| Finisher | High-commitment attack after setup or certificates |
| Support | Healing, reposition, or Water/Fire enabling for others |
Build 1: Tutorial-stable triangle (early demo)
Best for: First festival demo hours, learning rewind and battle setup.
| Slot | Role | Element focus |
|---|---|---|
| Rayna | Adjuster core | Flexible—teach mechanics first |
| Unit B | Sigil anchor | Fire or Plant depending on tutorial map |
| Unit C | Element answer | Water if map is Fire-heavy |
| Unit D (optional) | Finisher | Opposite element of Unit B |
Camp plan: One training evening on finisher after first wipe; one social evening only if next chapter is dialogue-gated. Details in Camp Time.
Weakness: Low investment romances; swap Unit D for popularity pick if combat is stable—see How to Romance.
Build 2: Fire-break priority (Plant-heavy maps)
Best for: Eldarra maps previewed with Plant-aligned Vacari clusters.
| Slot | Role | Element focus |
|---|---|---|
| Rayna | Adjuster core | Bait and reposition |
| Fire breaker | Element answer | Fire beats Plant |
| Water control | Setup | Water beats Fire covering breaker’s counter |
| Plant finisher | Cleanup | Plant beats Water after setup |
Rotation: Water softens Fire threats → Fire breaker clears Plant bulk → Plant finisher closes Water-aligned stragglers.
Gear: Spend first HULG voucher on finisher durability if preview bosses focus Rayna—Beginner Tips covers voucher timing.
Build 3: Water-control defensive (Fire-heavy waves)
Best for: Stages where Fire enemies pressure squishy ranged units.
| Slot | Role | Element focus |
|---|---|---|
| Rayna | Adjuster core | Keep off Fire frontlines |
| Water control | Primary answer | Water beats Fire |
| Plant finisher | DPS | Plant beats Water follow-ups |
| Sigil anchor | Tank | Fire or neutral bulk to hold tiles |
Combat notes: Use battle setup from newer demos to place anchor before Water opens—Combat for sigil detail.
Camp plan: Two consecutive training evenings on Water control if you lack rewind saves in older demo builds.
Build 4: Romance-forward balanced (full-game planning)
Best for: Launch playthroughs pairing one high-popularity route with stable clears.
| Slot | Role | Element focus |
|---|---|---|
| Rayna | Adjuster core | Always |
| Romance pick | Flexible DPS or support | Whichever element your roster lacks |
| Coverage unit | Element answer | Fills triangle leg romance pick misses |
| Sigil anchor | Tank | Minimal camp time if under-leveled |
Evening rule: Alternate—romance evening, training evening, romance evening—using Camp Planner so popularity does not drop combat to B-tier in Tier List.
Risk: Shareholder romance evenings from March demo updates compete for same slots; trim secondary social scenes.
Build 5: Promotion exam burst (mid-chapter)
Best for: HULG promotion checks tied to flawless or timed clears.
| Slot | Role | Element focus |
|---|---|---|
| Rayna | Adjuster core | Certificate priority |
| Fast finisher | Plant or Fire | Opposite map bias |
| Water enabler | Setup | Controls Fire threats |
| Flex slot | Replay specialist | Unit you practiced in Demo Walkthrough replays |
Prep: Replay one optional stage for Certificates of Mastery before exam night—cheaper than wiping the mandatory fight.
Vacari boss considerations
Immortal Vacari returns imply stat or pattern escalation, not identical AI. For boss phases:
- Bring two-element answers if boss swaps alignment between phases (common in tactical RPG boss design—verify at launch)
- Save rewind charges for mis-clicks on Steam Deck if preview input quirks affect your device—System Requirements
- Do not introduce a new romance unit the evening before; training stabilizes more than a cutscene
When to break these templates
Swap flex slots when:
- Mandatory story ally joins with fixed element
- Demo roster locks out a role until promotion gear unlocks
- Patch notes change certificate math post–August 11, 2026
Keep the triangle; swap names.
Integration checklist
Before accepting a build:
- Can you answer Fire, Plant, and Water threats in one turn rotation?
- Does someone hold sigils without dying to counters?
- Did camp evenings match the units you rely on? If not, see Builds Hub.
- Is this comp provisional tier-aligned without copying hype? Cross-check Tier List.
