Sylvie in Ledgerbound

Sylvie is the coworker players met last in public demo arcs and still ranked near the top of romance polls. Voiced by Cherami Leigh, she is marketed with sweet flames of passion — a Fire-leaning personality that arrives after Rayna already has evenings booked with Jazz, Hobknob, and Avarice. That timing is the entire design joke: HULG will on-board a new Hero when the Vacari escalate, and your Resterlude calendar does not get a matching budget increase.

This page is the planning guide, not an ending chart. Use it with the Romance Guide, How to Romance, and the Camp Planner. For combat coverage, stay on A.R.T.E. instead of inventing her retail skill names.

Why she is hard to schedule

Demo reporting called Sylvie the last companion recruited in the public slice. Playtesters still put her third overall in romance preference behind Rayna-as-favorite and Jazz. That combination is lethal for time management. If you spend the prologue dumping hours into training replays and a monogamous male lock, Sylvie joins a calendar that is already full. Ledgerbound’s store copy is blunt: decisions stick forever. A late recruit is not a free extra route; she is a test of whether you left slack in the bureaucracy.

Practical habits:

• Leave at least one evening uncommitted in each early Resterlude block.
• Finish her onboarding paperwork the night she appears or you cannot raise the bond or change gear.
• Do not assume Fire flavor means you should sell every Water tool. Mixed Vacari maps still exist.
• If a male interest is marked monogamous, read How to Romance before you start Sylvie’s file. Poly paperwork is real, but not universal.

Combat without a fake kit

Launch reviews describe compact Fire Emblem-style grids, a three-element triangle, and a full party that always deploys. Sylvie’s marketing leans Fire, which is useful against Plant-heavy waves and dangerous into Water. Because you cannot bench her, a late join that is underleveled becomes a liability on stamp maps. Experience comes from acting, not from sitting in a cute portrait.

Use Battle Setup to place her where a Fire read actually matters, and chase HR objectives that match her range rather than forcing her into a melee hole Avarice already fills. Certificates of Mastery still want all three stamps; a new coworker is not an excuse to skip Risk Mitigation because you were busy flirting.

Tone and voice

Leigh’s public samples and review writeups call Sylvie skittish as well as passionate. That mix matters for players who bounced off the Shareholders’ coercive boardroom energy. Sylvie is still an adult, HR-approved route in a spicy game, but the pitch is coworker crush and found-family heat rather than angelic-dom performance review. If you are choosing a first romance for a Comfort run, she is a common recommendation once you accept the late join tax.

Cross-link Voice Cast if you are collecting the ensemble, and Party Members for Joy, Pallas, Aura, and the rest of the late office.

First retail week

1. Do not empty your Resterlude pool in chapter one just because Jazz is available.
2. When Sylvie files in, spend the onboarding scene immediately.
3. Put her on the Romance Checklist the same night.
4. Check elemental coverage so your Fire crush is not your only Fire unit — or, if she is, buy swag that covers Water.
5. Replay a stamp map only if you can afford the time; launch coverage notes replays may skip EXP.

Sylvie rewards players who treated camp like a budget, not a binge. That is the most HULG lesson in the roster.
